Butternut Fritters with Lentils and Spinach Shoping List

Produce:

  • 1 butternut squash
  • Garlic cloves
  • lemon thyme  or other (fresh if possible)
  • 2 lemons
  • 1 yellow onion
  • 1 bunch spinach  (at least 2 cups packed)
  • ginger ( fresh or powdered otherwise)

Condiments, Oils and Seasoning: ( best to buy these spices in your bulk spice area of your health food store -  it is cheaper and you can take as much as you need)

  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric
  • 1/4 tsp cumin
  • pinch of paprika
  • 2 tsp grape seed oil
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 Tbs of grape seed oil
  • 1 Tbs of ground coriander
  • 1 Tbs of brown mustard seeds
  • 1 tsp  of cumin
  • 1/2 tsp of cayenne
  • salt to taste

Dry Goods:

  • 1  bag  of garbanzo bean flour
  • 1 cup  of red lentils

Dairy and eggs:

  • 3 eggs
  • goat yogurt (for garnish)
  • milk (unsweetened almond, soy, goat, cow) You pick!
